Dear Members of the Perak Bar,
We have received reports of a spate of robberies targeted at law firms in Ipoh (especially Old Town). The robber is described as a Chinese man in his 40's, short and of normal build. The modus operandi of the robber is to enter the law firm on the pretext of looking for a lawyer, casing the firm once, leaving and then returning to the firm moments later brandishing a paper cutter/blade and stealing whatever is at hand i.e jewellery etc.
Please take extra precautions to safeguard yourselves and your staff.
